In case you missed my announcement on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram – I was the first Woman to Watch of 2016!
I was interviewed by Leah Shaw of the Democrat & Chronicle. We chatted a lot about how I’ve reached this point in my career and how passionate I am about the local art scene here in ROC – I’m glad I was able to share my experience and also some fun facts about me:
Future goals: My long-term goals include pursuing a doctorate and eventually starting a family (maybe not in that order). I also grew up in the Adirondacks and it’s always been a goal to climb all 46 high peaks. Having just turned 30, I’m now committed to becoming a ’46er’ by the time I’m 35. Plenty of time.
SUPER PUMPED to share more about my 46er plans this year! Stay tuned. It’s funny re-reading this goals quote thinking back on my 30th birthday post. Ha! So, I do have some goals.
Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season and cheers to 2012!! I am so excited for the new year, I just hope I can take it a little slower. 2011 went by way too fast.
So, here we are. New year and new blog! What do you think? I decided to start the new year off hosting my own blog again. If you’ve been following my blogs for the last few years you’ll know that I kind of accidentally deleted my blog back in 2009. I went back to wordpress.com and have been happily blogging since. 2011 was my best blogging year yet and 2012 is already promising to be a stellar year! So, I’m taking control of my blog again and allowing myself to have more design control by hosting it myself. Now, fingers crossed, I can keep this one in tact! Joking, I’m totally not going to delete this one. Ha! Anyways, I’m still in the progress of working out some bugs, so if you see anything funny please don’t hesitate to let me know.
I hope those of you who were subscribed to my old blog will update your e-mail subscriptions and RSS feed subscriptions to this new blog of mine! You can do so to the right. Thank you for following me over here! I LOVE my new space!
