2012 Master’s Level Graduate Research Conference
April 16, 2012 in events, updates
This past weekend was super busy, Saturday especially. Not only did I work at the 2012 VSW Auction that evening, I also had to wake up bright and early to head to The College at Brockport for the 2012 Master’s Level Graduate Research Conference. As I mentioned on Friday, I spoke on the panel Exploring the Archive.
This was my first time speaking at a conference and it was a great learning experience. There are a lot of things I would have done differently leading up to the conference and I made notes for next time. This was also a great opportunity to practice speaking in front of people. April 30th I have to present my thesis proposal to a panel and I have been kind of freaking out about that lately. Practice makes perfect, right?
